Behind The Music
Hailing from the music-rich city of Seattle, Grace Alynne grew up immersed in its inspiring creative energy. Though her family wasn’t particularly musical, they were her biggest cheerleaders, encouraging her to follow her dreams and embrace her passions. From an early age, Grace found herself drawn to storytelling and self-expression—interests that would later shape her journey as an artist.
In 2020, Grace’s life took a heartbreaking turn when she and her family faced a profound loss. Struggling to make sense of her emotions, she turned to music as a refuge. It began with YouTube tutorials, where she taught herself to sing and play piano. Soon after, she picked up her sister’s old guitar, began formal music lessons, and discovered a passion for songwriting. Songwriting quickly became her outlet, and what started as a way to heal soon evolved into a passion that consumed her daily life.
In August 2024, Grace released her debut single, Phantom Pain, a deeply personal song that marked the culmination of years of growth and self-discovery. The track reflects her journey and identity as an artist, offering listeners an authentic glimpse into her heart. With Phantom Pain as her foundation, Grace is now diving even deeper into her artistry, exploring new sounds and working on a wave of fresh music that pushes her creative boundaries.
